Romein Kitchen Remodel in Manchester New Hampshire

Our firm designed this Kitchen Remodel in Manchester NH. To finish off the over all look to this quaint Cape home.

To start off with, you can see in the first blueprint layout when you click on it. The top or existing floor plan layout which is period of the time for back in the 1960's. All the cabinetry was built in place with a very basic white look to them. Even the countertops were not as deep as in today's standard. As it is, the whole kitchen is no larger then 10 foot by 8 foot 6.

So what do you do when you have a home with the rest of the Cape has all beautiful Oak woodwork throughout the home and the clients went so far as to re-do the hardwood floors and rooms? Eventhough it is said on all of the Home tv shows that a kitchen remodel is your best idea to update your home. The first thing that most potential buyers look at is whether or not they are going to have to remodel the kitchen. More and more the kitchen is becoming the center of the home. In most cases acting like the main living area of the home.

Asking most homeowners which room they would like to see made over, hands down is the Kitchen! A client once said during a new home project told me; "A kitchen is where a family can watch their love grow and make their family stronger in so many different ways!"

After calling the home owners back up to get the after pictures of kitchen I found out that not only did we hit the design home but, we KNOCKED it out of the park!!!! They told us that they were not planning on putting the home up for sale until the market went up higher in a few years. ALL of their friend and family LOVED it so much they convinced them to put it up, just to see what it would do...

The results; After having the home on the marked for 2 days (Yup you heard me TWO DAYS!!) they not only had a bid on but, a second and a third bid all for $5,000 over the price they asked and the house became under contract within 2 days with the first buyers!!

We asked if they felt that the kitchen had anything to do with it? They said, because, the realtor placed the lock box on the porch going into the kitchen. They felt it had everything to do with it.

Now do I feel that everyone can achieve a ending like this with my design? It is possible BUT, what I feel is that it nails home what the Home TV shows say that when you give the potential buyers what they want...
